Disclaimer: Don't read this blog if you want to make amazing cakes! I'm not a cake maker, just a Dad who likes to have a fun time making cakes with kids. I'm a Dad of 3 fantastic kids (two boys and a girl). As a family tradition the kids choose the theme of their birthday cake weeks before the big day and we spend a while planning the cake. It's a fun family exercise and they learn a lot. I've been fortunate to learn from many people so am happy to share my mistakes with others if it helps.
